Tim Seil is Public Affairs Manager Defence & Security at Daimler Truck AG, where he is responsible for political affairs, business development in the security and defence sector and the establishment of the company’s public affairs presence in Berlin. In his role, he supports the strategic positioning of Mercedes-Benz Defence Trucks, a full-range provider of military vehicle solutions, offering platforms ranging from the Arocs and Atego series to the highly mobile Unimog and the off-road Zetros.

Prior to joining Daimler Truck at the beginning of 2026, Tim held positions in the German Bundestag, the German Defence Industry Association (BDSV) and RENK Group AG. He holds a Master’s degree in War and Conflict Studies from the University of Potsdam.
